Wholesale Program

New products drove growth by providing new solutions for high-end restaurants and corporate clientele.
Retail Expansion

The brand grew it’s footprint from 4 restaurant locations in 2018, to 9 locations just a year later, driving demand through in-house sales.
Production Capacity

The IR-12kg was the workhorse used to build this brand but was limited by a maximum output of about 80 Ibs of roasted coffee per hour.
Production Bottleneck

The Roastery team was forced to spend more time on production than product development and customer care.

Systems Engineering

Cropster's robust features allowed us to automate several aspects of the roasting process, from planning to green coffee inventory management. This eliminated labor-intensive tasks and reduced the margin for error.

The Diedrich CR-35 Roaster was a pivotal part of our strategy. This state-of-the-art machine not only improved the quality of the coffee but also significantly enhanced operational efficiency by quadrupling production capacity.
Platform Migration

We transitioned Ascension's e-commerce platform to Shopify, dramatically improving user experience and product visibility. The new platform also streamlined order processing and management, making it easier for both customers and the Ascension team.
Results & Impact

Managing growing demands without compromising on quality earned the Roastery “Best Local Coffee Roaster” in the Dallas Observer’s Pandemic Edition Reader’s Choice. With expanded capacity and a commitment to excellence, they are now poised to take their coffee to the masses.
